Tests | BJU Press Testing & Evaluation

Education is... Accomplishment

BJU Press Testing & Evaluation offers The Iowa Tests® and Stanford achievement tests and learning abilities tests that are used in public and private schools across the country.

Of course, you are responsible to meet your state and local requirements for testing. Check the Home School Legal Defense Association website for more information. You may test at any time of year, but some states have deadlines for testing or score reporting.

SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

  • All test materials are secure and confidential and may not be viewed by anyone other than the
student(s) and approved administrator(s) during testing. The test questions or answers may not be discussed with any parent, student, or other individual before, during, or after testing. The test questions and general test content is not to be taught to a student at any point.
  • If you homeschool, you will need to provide verification of homeschooling when you order a Category 1 test. You can order online and then mail or fax the verification form to us. A homeschool order form is also available. Be sure to include all necessary signatures.
  • Small schools may order online or print the school order form and mail or fax it to us. If using The Iowa Tests the maximum K5-12 enrollment is 100; if using the Stanford Achievement Tests, the maximum K5-12 enrollment is 300. Please contact us directly for possible exceptions.

GENERAL TESTING GUIDELINES

  • To receive the tests on time when testing between early March and late June, order tests at least six weeks before the test date.
  • You must return the completed test materials within fifty days after you receive them. Unused tests must also be returned. Check out our refund policy.
  • After we receive the completed tests, you can expect computer-scored results within six to eight weeks.
  • The cost includes scoring and use of the materials, but not the right to keep the tests themselves. We will charge additional fees for nonreturned or damaged materials (items marked, torn, stained, etc.)
  • Whoever orders the tests will receive the test results and interpretation guide(s).
  • If you need any tests to be computer-scored with spring norms, we must receive the completed answer documents by the middle of August. Any tests received after that time will be scored with fall norms.
  • A 10% discount applies to all achievement tests ordered and shipped between September 1 and November 30 and returned no later than December 31.
