Anyone can learn to write well through practice and evaluation. With BJU Press Writing Evaluations (order this item), students in grades 3–12 can have their writing analyzed by professionals.
The writing sample takes about forty-five minutes and offers a choice of essay types (narrative, expository, descriptive, and persuasive).
The professional evaluation takes two to three weeks.
Areas assessed are:
- Organization
- Overall effectiveness
- Writing mechanics
- Suggestions for improvement
Up to four separate evaluations may be done during the year.
